Yo, the best thing about the modern Republican party’s use of coded language in speaking to their racist-ass constituency is how hilariously transparent this whole thing is. “You know, food stamp President, get it, like because of welfare, know what I’m talking about, like, what kind of person do we all say uses food stamps, are you understanding me now?” We basically need a new phrase to describe this ridiculous form of rhetoric, subtext so shallow it’s basically text.
